What are Reasonable Accommodations in school settings and the workplace? 

 

Presented by Jayne M. Wesler, who is a licensed clinical social worker and a partner in a law firm

 

This presentation will include discussion of Section 504 Plans,  the requisite criteria for a person to be afforded this protection, and examples will be provided about reasonable accommodations (e.g., including supports, modifications, related services, assistive technology, modified schedules, etc.) in various settings. The goal is to make sure we are well informed regarding the scope of the law when consulting with employers and academic institutions.

                  $30 (non-MCPA members)

                  Includes a Full Buffet Breakfast

                             from 8:30-9:00am
