Psychopharmacology Update: Treatment of Pediatric Bipolar Disorders
Is it ADHD, a depression, oppositional defiant disorder, or co-existing conditions? Is this child just really irritable and the parent is just having trouble finding the right approach to manage their child’s temperament? Are these temper-tantrums pathognomonic of a psychiatric condition? His presentation will review differential diagnosis, typical medical strategies, challenges associated with medicating children diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
